If you are not in the UK at the time of submitting your appeal, you cannot apply for help with fees. Find out how to appeal against a visa or immigration decision. The outcome of an Appeal following a malpractice decision may be a confirmation that the result remains withheld or an overturning of this decision which leads to the release of the result. Conditions for Appeal
Appellants must submit a completed Appeals application form and make payment to the Centre or directly to Cambridge by the end of the 21-day period. A Chief Assessor who has had no previous involvement with the result in question, reviews the documentation and prepares a report on your performance and/or the specific points of any complaint about course provision. The report is then sent to an Independent Reviewer who endorses the decision where appropriate and confirms that the Appeals procedure has been followed correctly. If candidates are not satisfied with the outcome of the Result Enquiry process, they are entitled to request a formal appeal against their grade. The appeal is submitted within 14 days of the receipt of the relevant decision. Where an appeal leads to a change of syllabus grade or the award of a grade where no grade was previously awarded, any Results Enquiry and Appeals fees will be refunded in full, and an amended Statement of Results and Certificate , will be issued.
